california! here we come!

We recently visited the San Diego area for our good friend's wedding.  We were about an hour north of SD so we spent our time in a couple small beach towns: La Jolla, CA (pronounced La Hoya - regardless of what my husband says) and Oceanside.

La Jolla is such a cool beach town.  Complete with quaint little cafes, surfer dudes and seals - it's everything you'd want to experience in California.  Oceanside is gorgeous.  I could've spent hours on the pier listening to old tunes and watching all the old fisherman.  We didn't get a chance to make it down to San Diego and I'm OK with that.  These two towns alone would bring me back to California.
